Earlier this year I saw a news clip about a wolf and wildlife educational ranch in our area. It's called Big Run Wolf Ranch. I was impressed with what I saw and decided to donate a white wolf piece to them. Here I am presenting the wolf to John Basile the President of the foundation. If you would like to visit their site to find out about the ranch click on the picture for a link to their site, .

It was over a year ago that I saw a segment on a TV show about a woman in Utah who was painting portraits of fallen soldiers of the Iraq War and giving them to the families of the soldier. I thought "What a Great thing to do!" Then earlier this year I saw another news segment on this woman, Kaziah Hancock, and her wonderful organization.
My wife searched the net and found the website. The organization is called "PROJECT COMPASSION." I found out there are several artists who have joined Kaziah to pay tribute to these brave soldiers. I felt the need to do something to show my appreciation for what they do. So I have sent them the feathers pictured above to thank them for their work. Please consider checking out their website. I think you will be as impressed with them as I am.
A final note, if you look at both the pictures above notice that the 8 single feathers can be separated (pic 2) or they also fit together like a puzzle (pic 1). I thought that this kind of represents how individuals can stand on their own or join together and create something even bigger.
